400kV Senior Authorised Person – 12 Month Contract – Outside IR35 – Offshore Wind ASAP Start - Hybrid Role – Scotland - Monday–Friday I’m currently looking for a 400kV Senior Authorised Person to support an offshore wind project, with responsibility for mentoring and developing SAPs, outage planning, and ensuring SFTS at all times. Our client is a firm member of the Electricity Transmission industry, specialising in strategical investment in offshore electricity transmission systems across Europe. We are looking for an experienced Substation/Transmission engineer, Senior wind turbine technician (with electrical and fault-finding experience) or other related engineer who is familiar with fault finding, electrical systems (high and low voltage) and ideally experience working offshore. Senior Authorised Person - SAP The role of Senior Authorised Person - SAP, will assure the construction of networks to ensure that ESP adopts, operated and maintain safe, compliant and efficient assets. The SAP will have responsibilities for operational matters associated with the day to day running electricity networks along with a role to assure that EHV assets are constructed to appropriate standards. This will be achieved in conjunction other members of the senior management team who provide specialist knowledge.
