Your new role The Sales and Marketing Manager, will take full ownership of delivering the Business Group’s strategic objectives, working autonomously while leveraging cross-functional collaboration to achieve results. The core objectives of the role are to: • Drive adoption and market share growth of our Alzheimer's product in UK private healthcare settings., • Position our Alzheimer's product as the preferred treatment option by differentiating its efficacy and safety profile from competitors., • Influence prescribing behaviour among clinicians and decision-makers., • Collaborate with Eisai’s UK marketing team to design and deliver impactful marketing initiatives that resonate with private market stakeholders. Key responsibilities of the job: • Clinical Differentiation & Education: Engage clinicians to communicate our Alzheimer's products clinical benefits, safety profile, and long-term value., • Deliver evidence-based presentations and respond to objections regarding ease of delivery vs. clinical outcomes., • Commercial Engagement: Partner with private clinic commercial operations teams to articulate the economic and clinical value of Eisai’s Alzheimer's product., • Support pricing and value-based discussions to secure adoption., • Strategic Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with Eisai’s UK marketing team in Hatfield to co-create campaigns and initiatives., • Provide field insights to shape messaging and promotional strategies., • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and private clinic decision-makers., • Identify and prioritise high-potential accounts for targeted engagement., • Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to ABPI Code of Practice and Eisai’s compliance standards., • To understand fully the private healthcare system for specialist care medicines (local, regional, and national) including local structures, funding streams and processes, • To organise and deliver effective events and meetings that raise the profile of Eisai within the private healthcare market, and to help educate private clinicians and increase the visibility of the Specialist Care Medicines available to market, • To maintain a high level of knowledge of the company’s disease areas, current products and relevant publications., • To take full responsibility for key account planning, sales execution and local market access, taking the lead on local business strategy., • Be able to work productively in any strategic alliances, • Engage and deliver a true omnichannel experience for customers, proactively deploying appropriate channels tailored to individual customers, • Provide regular progress on performance, preparing customer call plans and SMART call objectives to line manager, • Provide formal Account Plan presentations to the Specialist Care Business Unit to update on progress against those plans, • Achieve expected levels of activity across customer groups utilising omnichannel communication What are we looking for? • ABPI Medical Representative Examination - essential, • Degree level qualifications – desirable, • Relevant experience in a Pharmaceutical Sales role in a specialist care therapy area, • Experience of working in sales across local health economies, • History of success within a private healthcare sales or commercial sales roles, • Marketing experience within the healthcare field, • Experience in planning events and meetings in compliance with industry code What we offer in return Eisai offers a competitive salary and excellent wider benefits package that includes, • Car/Car Allowance, • Electric charging points for Electric/Hybrid vehicles, • Discretionary Bonus, • Free onsite parking, • Subsidised onsite restaurant and coffee shop, • Learning and development opportunities, • Retail discounts, • Well-being & mental health awareness programmes, • Multi-faith prayer room What you need to do next If you are interested in this position, please click ‘apply now’ at the top of this advert.
