wellbeing, and continuous improvement just as much as technical expertise.”\n\nRole Responsibilities\n\nKey Duties\n\nOperational & Project Leadership\n\n * Support day-to-day regional operations, overseeing live project delivery across the NI Team\n\n * Act as Project Lead on major or strategic commissions\n\n * Ensure technical quality, compliance, and consistency across all projects and teams that you work with.\n\n * Integrate with wider operational teams in UKI to align processes, share resource, and promote regional collaboration\n\n * Actively contribute to Group-wide resourcing and project mapping exercises, QA/QC reviews, project governance, and continual professional development forums.\n\n * Ensure all delivery is underpinned by company policies, procedures, and brand standards\n\nRole Requirements\n\nTechnical & Professional Expertise\n\n * A relevant Master’s degree, or equivalent professional qualification\n\n * A minimum of 7 years’ experience and recent experience in a strategic level position\n\n * Experience in a client facing environment\n\n * Detailed knowledge of applying local fire safety codes, regulations, and standards\n\n * Ability to manage the full life cycle of fire & life safety engineering projects, including coordination of project teams, resources, schedules and deliverables.\n\n * Strong financial and commercial acumen\n\n * Ability to lead and mentor a team\n\n * Ability to set goals, drive performance, meet deadlines and adapt to change\n\n * Extensive experience of delivering fire engineering solutions for UK based projects\n\n * Good knowledge of fire engineering software packages\n\n * Proficient in MS Office Suite & Bluebeam\n\n * Excellent report writing and presentation skills for client meetings Relevant Master’s Degree (MEng) Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or at least CEng application in process\n\nExperience using\n\n * NFPA and IBC codes and standards Application\n\n * High-impact communication skills\n\n * Possess strong persuasive and interpersonal skills\n\n * Ability to work under pressure with a positive “can do” attitude\n\n * Highly client centric\n\n * Superb time management, hours\n\n * Must be willing to travel based on the requirements of the role\n\n * Must be eligible to work in UK\n\nCommercial Performance\n\nSupport management of the regional P&L, including revenue, profitability, cashflow and forecasting\n\nContribute to monthly commercial and performance reports to the SLT\n\nCollaborate with the SLT, UKI leads and central services to maintain a healthy secured pipeline, balanced workload, and consistent billing performance\n\nEnsure accurate use of internal systems for forecasting, project tracking, and financial reporting\n\nIdentify and pursue opportunities for improved commercial performance through more efficient delivery models and shared resourcing\n\nPeople & Culture\n\nHelp lead, mentor and support the NI team across all grades and functions\n\nSupport to ensure career development, reviews, and internal recognition frameworks are fully applied\n\nEmbed a culture aligned with company values: integrity, ownership, positivity, and excellence\n\nChampion diversity, collaboration and inclusion across all aspects of team leadership\n\nEngage closely with the SLT, UKI Ops/Management leads and HR to align policies and people point of contact for UKI clients and partners\n\nRepresent the company at technical forums, panels, and strategic client briefings\n\nLead the development of project proposals and commercial agreements, working closely with central commercial and bid support teams\n\nSupport Group-level business development efforts, including multi-region frameworks and enterprise clients\n\nIdentify and pursue new market opportunities, supporting Group expansion into aligned sectors and geographies\n\nStrategic Growth\n\nSupport the development of the NI team – including recruitment, delivery structure, compliance, and pipeline activation\n\nActively contribute to the Group’s strategic planning and expansion efforts\n\nSupport alignment between Group strategy and regional market
