Seasons Café is a busy, independent café in the heart of Old Amersham that has been established for 18 years. We are family run and pride ourselves on providing excellent food, coffee and service. We are looking for someone with a passion for food and an enthusiasm to create beautiful and great tasting dishes to join our team as an Assistant Chef. The ideal candidate will be hard working and will have a can-do attitude. One year’s kitchen experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. The role is full time. The role includes a three month probationary period. You: - Will report to the Head Chef, Jake Dumbarton - Will assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality food, in the Seasons style. - Will be familiar with all activities of the kitchen in terms of preparation, cooking and cleaning and will be prepared to do them efficiently. - Be capable of holding your own in a busy kitchen whilst under pressure. - Take ownership for all tasks, duties, instructions, and responsibilities that are assigned to you, ensuring that they are completed on time and to the required, high standard. - Show respect to the kitchen team as well as the front of house team, ensuring that communication is clear. - Will be enthusiastic and have a team player attitude. - Will have personal drive, to help up grow the business. - Will have the ability to organise your workload as well as using your own initiative. Duties: - Prepare, cook and present all dishes. - Ensuring the upkeep of food and hygiene regulations - Assist with the ordering of stock. - Receive deliveries and ensure they are put away correctly, whilst rotating stock. - Manage daily cleaning tasks, including pot washing. Therefore, we are looking for an office manager who is skilled as a manager but also speaks languages of the Indian Subcontinent such as Bengali, Hindi and Urdu. We propose to offer a salary of £39000 per year which is in line with the current going rate and skilled worker appendix. The main responsibilities would be as follows- - Plans work schedules, assigns tasks and delegates responsibilities; -Advises on the handling of all correspondence and enquiries relating to accounts, sales, statistical and vacancy records; -Ensures that procedures for considering, issuing, amending and endorsing insurance policies are adhered to; -Plans, organises and co-ordinates the activities and resources of other offices not elsewhere classified including box offices, other ticket offices and accommodation bureaux.

We’re now looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Pizzaiolo to join our kitchen team and bring their flair and commitment to excellence to every pizza served. Key Responsibilities: Prepare fresh pizza dough daily and ensure consistent quality. Assemble and cook pizzas to order using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Operate and maintain a [wood-fired/gas/electric] pizza oven safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation in line with UK food safety standards. Assist with stock rotation, ingredient preparation, and kitchen organisation. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Contribute ideas for seasonal specials and new menu items. Requirements: Previous experience as a pizzaiolo or in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of traditional pizza dough preparation and cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during peak hours. A genuine passion for food, especially Italian cuisine. Food hygiene certification (Level 2 minimum) or willingness to obtain. Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
