Our focus extends to those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). What We Offer Our SEN / SEND Tutors:\n\n • Flexible Hours: Choose part-time or full-time hours that fit your schedule.\n, • Remote Opportunities: Enjoy occasional online teaching assignments from the comfort of your home.\n, • Professional Development: Access extensive CPD and upskilling opportunities, including the full Tes CPD suite.\n, • Supportive Team: Work alongside a dedicated SEN / SEND Support Team to ensure success for both you and your students.\n, • Community Connection: Join our vibrant tutor community to share best practices, resources, and tips.\n, • Impactful Work: Be part of a child-centered organization committed to improving support for vulnerable young people.\nYour Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:\n\n, • Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.\n, • Support students referred by local authorities and schools, guiding them on their educational and social-emotional journeys.\n, • Utilize flexible and holistic approaches to tutoring and mentoring, tailored to each student's unique needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n, • Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions that engage and inspire.\n, • Create holistic learning experiences that advance both educational and social-emotional development.\n, • Document progress through lesson reports and provide constructive feedback.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n, • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).\n, • A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.\n, • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.\n, • Knowledge of safeguarding processes.\n, • Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this).\n, • Two professional references.\n, • Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.\n\n It’s essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.
