Adaptable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well established Liverpool based organisation who is looking to recruit a high calibre Payroll and Benefits Analyst.Salary and Benefits £35000 per annum 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays Hybrid working model in place Free parking on siteMain duties and responsibilities \n\n • Managing end-to-end monthly payroll processing\n, • Manage statutory payments (PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, etc.), RTI returns, P11Ds, and year-end reporting\n, • Ensure compliance and develop a comprehensive knowledge of payroll, benefits taxation, pension, and data protection legislation and keep up to date with developments accordingly\n, • Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly utilising pre payroll reconciliation reports, preparatory pre and payroll and benefits audit checks in order to gain authorisation to proceed to payment\n, • Preparing reports and data analysis ensuring data is accurate\n, • Perform payroll and benefits system testing and contribute ideas to improving the functionality and performance of the system\n, • Develop advanced SAP Success Factors skills and act as a Super-User in providing guidance and support to other team members\n, • Managing relationships with benefits and systems providers\n, • Preparing and validating payroll data including bonuses, one off payments and expenses\n, • Involvement in project work to improve and develop systems, processes and procedures and to deliver improvement initiatives to the organisation\n, • Maintaining accurate records, SOPs and systems\n, • Administering employee benefits and responding to payroll and benefits queries\n, • Provide expert advice within the organisation and externally, where required\n, • Liaise with internal and external auditors, to ensure compliance with policy, procedures and statutory requirements at all times\n, • Produce total reward statements and support pay, benefits and reward policy development\n, • Supporting employee engagement through delivering effective customer service and support\n, • Drive awareness of payroll, benefits and reward frameworks across the organisation\n, • Operate in line with group wide policies including EHS and ED&I\n, • Any other responsibilities deemed suitable to the role and where trained to do so\n\n Skills desired \n\n • CIPP qualification or commitment to work towards\n, • Strong understanding of UK payroll and benefits processes and statutory requirements\n, • Experience handling sensitive data and working with payroll and benefits systems with a commitment to confidentiality are essential.\n, • Confident using excel and highly organised\n, • Have the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment\n, • Strong communication and influencing skills\n, • Have a proactive and solutions driven mindset\n, • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills\n
