What you'll be doing Join one of the UK's leading publishing groups in a role that sits at the centre of a fast-moving and collaborative team. As a Sales Operations Executive, you'll support eight of Hachette's twelve publishing divisions, working closely with Sales, Inventory, Finance, and Distribution to help ensure our books reach retailers and readers smoothly, efficiently, and on time. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering a brilliant opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a highly skilled department. You'll be involved in a wide range of operational activity, gaining insight into how publishing and the supply chain works behind the scenes and building confidence in managing the processes that are essential to getting books into readers' hands. Key Responsibilities include: • Managing order processing across multiple divisions, supporting a wide range of UK Key Account customers., • Partnering with key account managers, inventory teams, finance, and operations to keep things running smoothly, • Monitoring invoicing and ensuring accuracy across all transactions, • Validating and approving spend, returns, pricing claims, and retrospective discounts with precision and care, • Managing internal tracking tools to ensure operational accuracy and consistency across divisions Who we are looking for We're looking for a confident communicator and natural collaborator who thrives in a detail-driven environment. You'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and making processes better.
