Due to increased project complexity and a stronger focus on the Levy Innovation Agenda, we are seeking a Tech and Innovation Lead to support the ongoing innovation, essential for the next decade of partnership with the All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon. This role requires broad capabilities in technology leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross-venue collaboration, with full end-to-end project ownership.. Purpose of Tech and Innovation Lead: This is a high-impact, visible role at the heart of one of the world's most iconic sporting events. You'll take the lead in implementing, managing, and supporting the cutting-edge technology systems that power Wimbledon's world-class hospitality experience. Beyond the Championships, you'll be a driving force for innovation-helping to evolve systems and shape the future of technology across Levy. Reporting to the Wimbledon Finance Lead, and working closely with both the Levy UK Head of Technology and the Championships Food & Drink General Manager, you'll sit at the intersection of operations, tech, and guest experience. Outside of the Wimbledon peak period, you'll collaborate with the wider Levy BUILT team-sharing insights, travelling across sites, and contributing to best-in-class solutions that elevate how we deliver hospitality. Location: Tech and Innovation Lead is based at AELTC, in Wimbledon, London. The role is fully on site during the peak period. Outside of this period, the role will require flexibility for occasional travel to support the wider team. Key Responsibilities - Tech and Innovation Lead: • Take ownership of all new technology and innovation at Wimbledon, driving end-to-end delivery from concept through to successful implementation., • Lead the implementation, logistics and ongoing administration of key operational systems, including Reservations, EPOS, PDQ, Stock Management, Tablets, Digital Signage, Cashless Payments, and other finance-related platforms., • Partner with the E15 data team to collate, analyse and distribute Championships and year-round performance data, delivering meaningful insights that inform decisions., • Ensure the site is fully Championships-ready from a technology perspective, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to manage timelines and flawless delivery., • Identify and develop opportunities to introduce new technologies, building strong business cases to support innovation and operational efficiency., • Oversee and maintain all Compass and AELTC IT and telephony assets, ensuring compliance with company and client policies., • Recruit, train and lead the Till & PDQ Support / Analysis and Stock Administration teams during the Wimbledon Championships, ensuring smooth operations under pressure., • Produce accurate and insightful ad hoc reports, including variance analysis and key statistical summaries., • Confident communicator and project lead, adept at managing end-to-end initiatives, engaging stakeholders, and driving results., • Builds and maintains strong client and supplier relationships through regular collaboration and proactive communication., • Tech-savvy and curious, embracing innovation and exploring cutting-edge hospitality technology and digital solutions., • Skilled in data analysis and reporting, with advanced Excel (and ideally Power BI) skills to deliver clear, insightful summaries and proposals., • Commercially aware with a sound understanding of P&L management and the ability to balance financial performance with innovation., • Experienced in team leadership, motivating and supporting others to deliver exceptional performance during peak operational periods., • Highly organised and self-motivated, thriving under pressure and managing multiple priorities with precision and positivity.
