Teaching Assistant - SEN & EAL Resource Provision | East Bristol (BS5)\n Location: East Bristol (BS5)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term Time Only)Pay: £90-£105 per day (PAYE)Contract: Full-time, Long-term with the potential to become permanentStart Date: September 2026 / ASAP \n Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a highly regarded Primary Academy in East Bristol, part of a successful and well-established multi-academy trust, to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils within the school's specialist resource provision. \n This rewarding role will involve supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) alongside pupils who are learning English as an Additional Language (EAL). You'll work within a dedicated, nurturing provision designed to provide targeted support, helping pupils build confidence, develop communication skills and access learning in a calm and inclusive environment. The Role\n As a Teaching Assistant, you will: \n\n • Support pupils with SEN and EAL on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.\n, • Deliver targeted interventions to develop communication, language and social skills.\n, • Help pupils access learning through tailored resources and differentiated activities.\n, • Build positive relationships that promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing.\n, • Work closely with teachers, the SEND team and specialist staff to provide high-quality support.\n, • Contribute to a welcoming, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.\nWe're looking for someone who:\n\n, • Has experience working with children in a school, nursery, care or similar setting.\n, • Has an interest in supporting pupils with SEN and EAL.\n, • Is patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive education.\n, • Builds positive relationships with children and works well as part of a team.\n, • Has excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.\nRequirements\n\n, • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).\n, • Right to work in the UK.\n, • Two recent professional references.\n\n This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive East Bristol Primary Academy, recognised for its inclusive ethos, strong leadership and commitment to ensuring every child succeeds, regardless of their starting point. \n #INDBRIS
