Purchase Ledger Clerk Hackney £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience) We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Hackney. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, • Matching purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices, • Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships, • Preparing and processing weekly/monthly payment runs, • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies, • Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements, • Assisting with general finance administration and process improvements About You • Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role, • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload, • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems, • Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team What’s On Offer • Salary between £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE), • Friendly and collaborative working environment, • Opportunity to develop within a growing finance function, • Supportive management team, • Office-based role in Hackney with potential flexibility
