Installation Supervisor Ellesmere Port, England, UK NES Fircroft are working with a global provider for industries operating in high-temperature conditions who are specialists in thermal protection for industrial equipment. Our client offers a wide range of refractory products and advanced solutions to enhance steel casting, metallurgical fluxes, and molding processes. They are now recruiting for an Installation Supervisor to lead and support installation projects across the UK and occasionally Europe. You’ll play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered safely on time, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities • Independently prepare and manage installation services, • Supervise and execute refractory lining projects, • Plan, schedule, and allocate manpower, tools, and materials, • Record hours, allowances, and subcontractor data accurately, • Carry out service calls for repairs and fault analysis, • Support commissioning activities and provide technical guidance on dry outs, • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety standards, • Act as the main point of contact for clients onsite, • Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, • Maintain project documentation, including QA/QC reports, • Mentor and guide staff to encourage continuous improvement Candidate Profile • Knowledge of furnace construction, • IOSH Safety training (or equivalent), • Proficiency in MS Office, and CAD (ability to read drawings), • Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in the refractory industry, • Experience in refractory installation, maintenance, and supervision (steel, cement, glass, aluminium & petrochemical industries), • Forklift licence, • Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe

Responsibilities: • Managing and coordinating all aspects of pipeline construction, ensuring the work is carried out in line with the approved schedule and budget., • You will also oversee and follow up on the contractors’ activities on-site, ensuring all activities carried out are in compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements., • Ensuring all works are properly executed in compliance with project specification, QA/QC procedure and standards., • Supervise daily construction activities for pipeline installation, including ROW opening and soil stripping, excavation, welding, coating, lowering and testing., • Ensure Contractor adherence to project plans, drawings, and specifications., • Ensure Contractor follow safety protocols and environmental regulations on-site., • Address and resolve technical issues promptly., • Monitor Construction site daily / weekly / monthly progress against project program requirements., • Ensuring the contractor is executing the activity in accordance with the requirements agreed with various stakeholders, including local authorities, and regulatory bodies, to maintain positive relationships and ensure smooth project execution., • Ensuring the contractor organizes a safe working environment for all personnel on site, adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a positive safety cult Requirements: • Engineering/technical degree (preferred) or Technical diploma, • 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, • Minimum 5 years in pipeline construction, with supervisory experience, • Strong knowledge of pipeline construction methods, construction planning and monitoring, construction works, welding & testing procedures
