Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client, an MRO distributor in Bedford who are on the lookout for a Branch Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis. The Branch & Sales Office Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations while leading the internal sales, purchasing, and admin teams to deliver exceptional customer service and sales support. This role requires a dynamic and proactive leader who can balance operational efficiency, financial oversight, and customer relationship management. Branch Manager Job Overview • Oversee daily business activities, ensuring smooth operations in all areas, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and compliance with company policies., • Monitor KPIs, budgets, and profitability, ensuring compliance with company policies., • Support business development by maintaining customer relationships and assisting sales teams with complex quotes., • Ensure timely and professional responses to customer enquiries and resolve escalated issues., • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality., • Represent the branch within the local business community and support growth initiatives. Branch Manager Job Requirements • Previous experience in a similar role within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial setting., • Proven leadership and team management skills with a track record of motivating and developing staff., • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, managing multiple priorities seamlessly., • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management., • Sales and marketing proficiency with proven ability to drive growth and customer engagement., • Proficient in CRM systems and other business software. Branch Manager Salary & Benefits • Salary circa £40,000 (negotiable), • 8am – 5pm, • Monday - Friday, • 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
