Deputy Manager – Adult Residential Care Location: Swansea, SA1 6HD Salary: £30,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, 41.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis) Visa Sponsorship: Not available We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in leading a high-quality residential care service for adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and autism. In this role you will help ensure excellent standards of care, safety, and wellbeing while motivating and developing your team to deliver truly person-centred support. You will play an active part in quality assurance, team leadership, rota management, and maintaining full compliance with CIW and RISCA standards. Key Responsibilities: • Support the day-to-day running of the residential service, • Assist with team leadership, supervision, and staff development, • Help maintain high standards of person-centred care and wellbeing, • Contribute to quality assurance, care planning, and regulatory compliance, • Assist with rota planning and effective use of commissioned hours, • Support positive behaviour support approaches where needed What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience working with adults with complex needs, learning disabilities or autism, • Strong leadership and organisational skills, • Good knowledge of relevant care regulations and quality frameworks (particularly CIW/RISCA), • Confident using IT systems and managing care records Desirable: • Experience managing rotas and commissioned hours, • Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), • Full UK driving licence or reliable access to transport What We Offer: • Competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, • Full-time hours on a rota basis, • Opportunities for professional development and training, • Supportive working environment with a strong focus on staff wellbeing If you are a compassionate and motivated leader with experience in adult residential care, we would love to hear from you.
