We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our venue, inspire our team, and ensure every guest enjoys a first-class experience. The Role As Assistant Manager, you will support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day operation of the business, overseeing multiple departments including reception, food and beverage, gym and wellness facilities, events, and padel operations. You will be a visible leader on the floor, ensuring operational excellence, outstanding customer service, and strong commercial performance throughout the venue. Key Responsibilities Support the overall management of the venue and daily operations Lead, motivate, and develop a large team across multiple departments Deliver exceptional customer service and member experiences Manage shifts and ensure smooth operations across opening hours (06:0000:00) Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management Monitor venue standards, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance Support food and beverage operations to maximise sales and profitability Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management Support the delivery of events, tournaments, leagues, and member activations Help drive membership growth, customer retention, and secondary spend Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed What We're Looking For Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, leisure, fitness, sport, or premium customer service environments Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the front Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment Commercial awareness and a passion for delivering results Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays Passion for sport, fitness, hospitality, and creating memorable customer experiences What You'll Get Opportunity to work in one of London's most exciting premium padel venues Competitive salary and development opportunities Complimentary use of gym and padel facilities Staff discounts on food & drink Career progression within a growing business A fun, energetic, and supportive team environment The chance to help shape the future of one of the UK's fastest-growing sports Why Racketeer?
