Digital Designer \n Durham, East Yorkshire \n c£30-35k (plus an excellent bonus) \n 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH \n \n This role is based in Northeast England, working within the creative and marketing team for an trusted industry-leading wholesaler. They are looking for a digital designer who can produce scroll-stopping assets across social, paid media, email, and web, helping bring their brand to life through engaging animation and dynamic digital experiences. They have both an in-store and digital E-Commerce presence and it is working with a busy and dynamic creative and marketing team, who have some exciting big projects coming up, one being a re-brand and the other a live event. \n \n This role is a permanent, full-time, hybrid role, on-site in Durham (North East England) 4 x days, remote 1 x day. \n \n The Company \n \n Our client stands as the UK’s leader in the trade wholesale space, with sites in the US and EMEA. They offer a state-of-the-art workplace with incredible facilities along with a collaborative and friendly team, and the opportunity to learn and develop in your role. \n \n The Role \n \n They are looking for a digitally native Designer with a passion for animation and motion-led storytelling. It would suit a digital designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their expertise in motion graphics, short-form video, and performance-driven digital content. \n \n Responsibilities for the role include; \n\n • Digital Asset Creation: Design high-quality digital assets including web banners, email graphics, display ads, and social content aligned to brand guidelines.\n, • Motion & Animation: Produce engaging motion graphics, animated ads, and short-form social videos optimised for digital platforms.\n, • Storyboard to Execution: Assist in developing storyboards and translate static creative into compelling animated content.\n, • Paid Media Creative: Adapt and version creative for paid social and display campaigns, understanding best practices for engagement and conversion.\n, • Content Optimisation: Resize, reformat, and iterate assets for multiple platforms and placements while maintaining visual consistency.\n, • Collaborative Workflow: Work closely with senior designers and marketing stakeholders to deliver cohesive campaigns.\n, • Asset Organisation: Maintain organised project files and contribute to a structured motion asset library.\n\n \n Your Experience \n \n You have around 2-5 years' experience within a digital design or motion design role and have experience of creating content for digital campaigns, social media, digital assets, web banners, email graphics and social ads \n \n You are curious about the digital world and on top of trends and new technology \n You enjoy working and collaborating within a team, coming up with new ideas and are passionate about motion-led storytelling. \n \n You have; \n \n\n • Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro, with solid skills in Photoshop and Illustrator\n, • Digital and motion Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animated social content, or video editing projects (professional or freelance).\n, • Digital Platform Knowledge: Understanding of aspect ratios, safe zones, and content formatting across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms.\n, • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to timing, transitions, typography, and motion polish.\n, • Eager Learner: Open to feedback, proactive in developing skills, and excited to push creative boundaries.\n\n \n \n This role is based in Durham, which is in East Yorkshire in the North East of England, before applying please ensure that you are able to commute to the studio for a minimum of 3-4 days per week \n
