    Overview Woks Bar and Restaurant is looking for a driven and commercially minded Commercial Manager to help take our independently owned business to the next stage of growth. We are a lively, local Asian-fusion bar and restaurant, known for great food, great drinks, and great atmosphere. The ideal candidate will lead revenue growth through local partnerships, event-based offerings, and marketing initiatives while supporting day-to-day business performance. Key Responsibilities - Identify and develop new business opportunities, such as local corporate catering, private dining, events, and collaborations with nearby businesses - Maintain and grow relationships with delivery platforms to drive online sales and customer engagement - Monitor local market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to adjust business and marketing strategies - Work with the team to coordinate logistics for catering and group bookings, ensuring high-quality service delivery - Set achievable sales targets and motivate front-of-house and delivery teams to meet performance goals - Oversee cash flow management by reviewing payment terms, invoicing, and daily financial performance - Support local marketing initiatives including seasonal promotions, neighbourhood outreach, and social media content (with the support of external designers or internal staff) - Ensure brand consistency and service standards are upheld throughout daily operations - Help plan and manage small events, tasting nights, and themed promotions to increase customer engagement and retention ** Requirements** - Previous experience in restaurant, bar, or hospitality management (experience in Asian cuisine is a plus but not essential) - Strong commercial awareness with a practical approach to growing local business - Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills - Familiarity with third-party delivery platforms such as Uber Eats, Deliveroo, or HungryPanda - Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage - Willing to work evenings, weekends, and busy service periods as required
