The business is looking to appoint an experienced Senior CDM Consultant/ Principal Designer to oversee a varied portfolio of property and construction projects across London and the Home Counties. The consultancy operates on a fully remote basis, with monthly team get-togethers at its London HQ, offering flexibility without losing the benefits of collaboration. Youll work with a diverse client base across the property and construction sector, delivering CDM and Principal Designer services on projects ranging in value from £300k to £500m. Over the past six years, the business has built an excellent reputation within the industry, resulting in strong levels of repeat business and consistent, organic growth. As part of the next phase of expansion, they are seeking a technically strong, confident Senior CDM Consultant/ Principal Designer to manage their own portfolio of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, retail, office, leisure, hotel, and heritage sectors. This role would suit a client-facing consultant from a consultancy background who is looking for greater autonomy, trust, and the opportunity to regain a healthy work-life balance without compromising on the quality or scale of projects. Responsibilities: • Offer a range of CDM & PD services to clients., • Oversee the design risk register and attend design risk reviews, along with offering input in relation to safety in design., • Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date., • Sit in on design and client team meetings and offer advice around safety in design., • Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required., • Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place for each project., • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent., • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required)., • Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body., • APS 2 Day Principal Designer course or similar qualification., • Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations., • Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry., • Salary from £60,000 - £68,000 (dependant on experience)., • Travel and mileage expenses covered., • Remote working environment., • Annual bonus scheme., • 26 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday., • Company pension plan., • Private healthcare scheme., • Excellent CPD, training and support., • Professional membership fees covered. xrnqpay, • Clear career pathway with opportunities for progression and development.

The business operates across London & South East, working with a range of clients and delivering a CDM/ PD service on projects from £300k up to £500m. They have developed an excellent reputation within the industry which has lead to repeat business and their brand growing from strength to strength. They are now looking to hire experienced building control professionals, ideally from an Approved Inspector background due to the commercial nature of their projects. They oversee a portfolio of projects in the residential, commercial, retail, office, leisure, hotel, industrial, manufacturing, sport and education sectors, and the sister company already works alongside these established relationships. The role has been created off the back of the changes happening in the industry related to the Building Safety Act, and the business wanting to integrate their PD and BSA service offering to help their clients navigate these changes and ensure that building regs and BSA compliance is achieved. The role would suit client facing, commercially minded and driven individuals, someone who wants to grow a business during an exciting time in the sector. Duties: • Carryout building control inspections, site visits, surveys and prepare reports., • Offer advice around the Building Safety Act., • Liaise with Principal Designer, Principal Contractor, Architects, MEP, Fire Engineers, Design teams and other parties to ensure compliance on projects., • Undertake plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval., • Inspect properties and buildings at key stages of the building process., • Attend client and design team meetings to offer professional input relation to building regs and BSA compliance., • Provide technical advice to clients, contractors, developers, colleagues, and key stakeholders., • Registered Building Inspector or working towards - open to class 1, 2 or 3., • Membership to RICS, CABE or CIOB., • Understanding of RIBA Framework., • Experience of inspecting buildings and properties., • Excellent knowledge of BSA, building regulations, codes and legislation., • Salary in the region of £65,000 - £80,000., • Annual bonus scheme based on targets and performance., • Company share scheme and business equity., • Travel and mileage expenses covered., • 26 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday + birthday off., • Company pension plan., • Private healthcare scheme., • Excellent CPD, training and support., • Professional membership fees covered. xrnqpay
