Front of House Manager (new opening Pub) Rewards & Benefits Salary up to £40,000 (48-hour contract) Share of tips The opportunity to be part of an exciting reopening A senior leadership role within a growing, respected local business A well-established local hospitality business is reopening a pub in Weston-super-Mare and is seeking an experienced and driven Front of House Manager to lead service operations and help shape this exciting new chapter. Owned and operated by a successful local company already trading a thriving restaurant in the town, this pub will offer a full, quality-led menu focused on fresh ingredients, alongside a popular weekend carvery. The vision is to create a welcoming, community-focused venue with the atmosphere of a true locals pub. The Role Reporting to an off-site Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Head Chef as one of the two senior managers on site. You will take full responsibility for front of house performance, service standards, and guest experience. Key responsibilities include: Leading, motivating and developing a large front of house team Setting and maintaining exceptional service standards Managing rotas in line with business needs Driving sales and supporting business growth alongside the Operations Manager Creating a warm, welcoming and community-focused atmosphere Ensuring smooth daily operations across all service periods The Candidate This role would suit a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up, or an experienced Front of House Manager who thrives in a high-volume, quality-driven environment. You will: Be confident running front of house operations independently Have strong team leadership and people management skills Be commercially aware and performance-driven Understand how to build and maintain a locals pub atmosphere Ideally have knowledge of the Weston-super-Mare market and demographic Due to the nature of the role, including split shifts, this position would suit someone who lives locally.
