This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the whole school community. This Business Manager role in East London would suit an experienced Business Manager ready to take the next step in their career or an Office Manager looking for more responsibility. You will join a friendly and busy team, gain access to anzuk benefits and play an important role in the school office as the School’s Business Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the school’s financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting, • Manage HR processes including recruitment, onboarding and staff compliance, • Lead on premises, health & safety and site management, • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of administrative and operational functions, • Support senior leadership with strategic planning and decision-making, • Maintain compliance with statutory regulations, policies and safeguarding requirements The Ideal Candidate Will: • Have proven experience as a School Business Manager or within a similar role in education, • Demonstrate strong knowledge of school finance, budgeting and reporting, • Have experience managing HR processes and compliance, • Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, • Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, • Show a proactive and solution-focused approach to school operations, • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply) What the school offers: A supportive and collaborative staff team.
