We’re recruiting a Family Assessment Worker to join a dedicated team in Coventry, providing vital support and supervision to families as part of a comprehensive assessment service. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure the safety and welfare of children is at the heart of all assessments and interventions., • Observe, supervise, record, and assess family interactions, child behaviour, and parental capacity., • Deliver a respectful and strength-based service, valuing each family’s experiences and background., • Work closely with managers and other professionals to support family progress and ensure high-quality practice., • Challenge and teach parenting practices sensitively and appropriately., • Participate in team meetings, training, and professional supervision., • Maintain accurate, timely records in line with organisational standards., • Support with general childcare duties and day-to-day centre operations. Requirements: • Minimum 6 months’ experience in the UK in a relevant setting (social care, SEN, NHS, teaching assistant, or care home)., • Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills., • Compassionate, patient, and committed to promoting positive outcomes for children and families., • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays., • A driving licence is not essential.
