I’m a disabled professional seeking a reliable, assistant to support me with a variety of administrative tasks.
This is a part-time role with flexible hours totalling around 12 per week. It would suit someone local who is organised, communicative, and comfortable working independently.
This position could be a great opportunity for a school leaver, first year university student or someone considering (or currently studying) politics, law, or public service, as it offers valuable insight into casework, correspondence, and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities: - Assisting with casework and document preparation - Drafting letters and other correspondence - Managing diaries, appointments, and scheduling - General administrative support - Accompany to meetings, including some evening sessions such as the Town Hall Requirements: - Excellent standard of written and spoken English - Good PC skills - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one) - Driving licence preferred, but not essential - Self-employed status - Flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach to work - Good knowledge of updating social media websites Qualities - Patience and understanding - Willingness to learn - Logical and proactive thinking To start in September with full training provided.
