(CPP), • Overseeing the commissioning, training and handover of completed projects to the operations teams., • Preferably have a background in Engineering, such as Civil or Mechanical Engineering., • Formal qualifications within these sectors are strongly encouraged. Ideally, holding at least a BTEC/HND in a relevant discipline or relevant experience., • Or have knowledge of Clean Water Processing and/or Wastewater treatment., • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders simultaneously. The Candidate The Candidate we are looking for is someone who can prove longevity experience working as a Logistics Manager across varied sectors. The candidate would have ultimate responsibility for managing the Logistics on site reporting back in to the Site Manager & Project Manager. Typical Duties • Managing deliveries using our Smartsheet system. • Manage the crane and hoist booking in using our Smartsheet system. • Deliveries to be checked off in line with paperwork/delivery dockets to ensure all materials have been delivered/no damage etc. Dockets to be brought to BCL office every evening for review. • Ensure delivery driver inductions are completed and drivers are complying i.e. handrails on trucks, PPE being worn etc. • Ensure all deliveries being off loaded with Hi ab chains etc, have all the applicable certs for Hi ab, lifting equipment etc. • Monitoring block/brick on site and highlighting if stocks are low or if there are too many on site. • Contractors allocated laydown areas to be monitored and deliveries refused if materials are not being moved within 2-3 days. • Supervising traffic marshalls, forklift driver and working alongside the crane team led by the crane supervisor. Keeping track of hours/breaks and signing off time sheets. • Ensuring all plant i.e. forklifts, hoists etc are being maintained, in service, checks being completed and recorded. • Ensuring with the help of the crane supervisor that all lifting equipment is in date, no damage etc. • Preplanning with scaffolding supervisor/crane supervisor to ensure deliveries are being off loaded with the crane every morning to where materials are needed. • Preplanning window/pod deliveries with crane supervisor to ensure Canti Deck is in place etc. • Managing all logistics on site including walkways/access points etc and reprimanding non-compliance. • Managing bins, skips, compactor collections, liaising directly with the waste management company. • Attending daily briefings with all BCL managers and contractor supervisors, planning works/logistics for the following day/week. • Taking instruction from our project/site managers, H&S officer etc and working as a team. • Ensuring BCL materials/temporary electrics/tools etc are looked after/maintained and replenished if necessary. • Completing weekly meter readings, bund checks etc and ensuring these are recorded. • Loading out Saturdays, pre planning with all contractor supervisors/crane team. Responsibility: • Supporting the Manager in day to day operations of the service, • Maximisation of Service User interests by liaising with internal and external stakeholders, also developed, maintenance and implement of a person centred support plan for each Service User, • Oversee the Personal delivery of physical and mental support to Service Users, as well as Monitoring and maintenance of safeguarding the rights and dignity of each Service User, • Routine assessment and communication of Service User development to interested stakeholders and oversee Effective control of Service User financials where commissioned and the trackers are updated, • Fostering of a positive environment in which Service Users and staff actively engage, also establishing and ensuring regular conduct of open and transparent two-way communication with Service Users and staff, • Working to support the service manager to maintain the compliance of the service, • Respond to emergencies and provide guidance and support to subordinate staff, • Actively engaging in performance and discipline management to maximise staff performance and assure compliance with company procedures, • Conducting of staff training needs analysis and the co-ordination and delivery of training to maximise staff competence. developing and implementing of staff-rotas ensuring that appropriate staff cover is available to Service Users, • Successfully achieving the individual objectives set by the company, • Accomplishing self-audits and pro-actively engage in external compliance audits, enhancing current operations through continuous improvement, • Support the service manager and Area manager To deal with complaint and safeguarding and carry out investigation Generic Duties: • The maintenance of confidentiality of all information unless otherwise permitted by management, • Full compliance with company’s vision, values, policies and procedures, compliance with legislation and CQC Code of Conduct as reflected in company procedures and the SOP., • Undergo training and professional development as directed by the company, • Work in a manner that promotes team work and a collegial environment, • Active and positive promotion of the company’s image and bran, • Other duties that may be assigned by management, • Able to carry out On Call duties as rostered. Qualifications: • QCF L3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (or working towards), • Competence in the use of Microsoft Office and Internet applications, • Strong English spoken, listening and written communication skills, • Full driving licence and use of own car for general business use and to support Service Users
