We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Payroll & Time Lead to take end‑to‑end ownership of the Payroll and Time workstream on a major ECC to S/4HANA (H4S4) technical migration. This is a senior, client‑facing role, requiring deep SAP HCM Payroll & Time expertise, proven migration delivery experience, and the ability to lead stakeholders through a complex transformation. Key Responsibilities • Own the SAP Payroll & Time workstream across the full migration lifecycle: design, build, testing, cutover and hypercare, • Act as the primary functional SME for Payroll & Time, providing best‑practice guidance for S/4HANA / H4S4, • Lead impact assessment and solution design for Payroll & Time in the move from SAP ECC to H4S4, • Work closely with technical, integration and Basis teams to ensure data readiness, system stability and migration success, • Oversee payroll data validation and reconciliation activities, including parallel payroll runs, to ensure accuracy, control and compliance, • Manage senior stakeholders, providing clear status reporting, driving issue resolution and supporting decision‑making, • Identify and mitigate functional risks, issues and dependencies across the Payroll & Time domain, • Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and client‑specific payroll/time policies and controls, • Govern and support testing activities (SIT, UAT) and payroll‑specific validation and assurance cycles Required Skills & Experience • Extensive hands‑on experience in SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management (UK payroll strongly preferred), • Proven track record delivering SAP S/4HANA (H4S4) and/or ECC technical migration programmes, • Deep knowledge of SAP payroll schemas, rules, time evaluation and payroll integrations, • Strong experience in payroll data migration, reconciliation and parallel payroll testing, • Confident, client‑facing leader able to engage, influence and challenge senior stakeholders, • Comfortable operating in complex, regulated, governance‑driven delivery environments This role is suited to a senior SAP professional who can combine detailed functional expertise with leadership of a critical workstream in a large‑scale S/4HANA migration.
