Job Title: Solar Operations assistant Location: Leicestershire About the Role We are looking for a motivated and organised Solar Operations Coordinator to join our growing team based in Leicestershire. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting our solar installation business across technical design, administration, customer-facing documentation, social media marketing, and scheduling. Full training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities -Assist with the design and pricing of solar installation projects -Plan and schedule solar installation jobs, coordinating timelines and resources effectively -Book and manage operatives, ensuring the right teams are allocated to the right jobs at the right time -Manage MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) administration and ensure compliance with scheme requirements -Prepare and issue handover documentation for completed solar installations -Support the office team with day-to-day administration tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping -Act as the primary point of contact and office lead in the absence of the Office Manager -Create and manage engaging social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to promote the business -Monitor and grow the company’s social media presence and engagement -Liaise with customers, installers, and suppliers as required -Maintain accurate records and filing systems What We’re Looking For -Experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is desirable but not essential — full training will be given -Strong organisational and administrative skills with experience in job planning or scheduling -Confident using computers and picking up new software and systems -Experience managing business social media accounts and creating content is an advantage -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal -Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed -A team player who can flex between technical and administrative tasks -A willingness to learn and grow within the role Why Join Us?
