Key Responsibilities • Lead the management of all corporate insurance programmes, ensuring comprehensive coverage that aligns with the Brand’s strategic and operational needs., • Oversee the end-to-end insurance claims process, including notification, investigation, negotiation, and settlement of claims, minimising company exposure and maximising recovery where applicable., • Develop, implement, and maintain the organisation’s insurance strategy, reviewing policies and procedures to ensure ongoing suitability and cost-effectiveness., • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insurers, and other external partners, ensuring optimal service levels and value for money., • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including Procurement, Finance, Legal, Operations, and HR) to identify emerging risks and insurance requirements as the business evolves., • Monitor market trends, legislative changes, and emerging risks, proactively advising the Head of Risk & Compliance on potential impacts or opportunities for improvement., • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing up-to-date insights on insurance coverage, claims activity, and areas for development., • Support the annual insurance renewal process, including data gathering, risk presentations, and negotiations with providers., • Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of insurance and claims management, embedding best practice and fostering a culture of risk awareness across the business., • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, legislative, and company standards relating to insurance and claims handling., • Assist in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities as part of the broader risk and compliance function. Key Skills & Experience • Extensive experience managing corporate insurance programmes, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sector., • Strong technical knowledge of insurance products, claims processes, and risk management principles., • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills., • Proven ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, actionable recommendations., • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organisational skills., • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII, IRM) are highly desirable. This will be a hybrid role (3 days in the office and 2 days working from home) and you can be based at the Woking OR the Bicester office. What You’ll Be Doing • Conducting food safety and health & safety inspections and records audits at client premises., • Producing compliance reports and practical recommendations for clients following each visit., • Delivering risk assessments: including occupational, manual handling and PPE - particularly in hospitality environments., • Supporting new client onboarding, including the implementation of our digital compliance platform, ALERT65., • Providing tailored advice, consultancy and training to clients across a wide range of environments., • Acting as Account Manager for a number of clients - typically individual or small group hospitality operators., • Conducting investigations into allegations such as food poisoning, allergen incidents or foreign body contamination., • Participating in our Advice Line rota, offering reactive expert guidance and managing investigations., • Offering constructive feedback to internal teams, including IT (for platform improvements) and Operations, to support continuous improvement., • Engaging in internal training (CPD) and team development., • Managing communications efficiently—responding to client and internal queries in a timely and professional manner. What We’re Looking For • A solid background in food safety and health & safety auditing, ideally in hospitality. A minimum Level 4 Food Safety qualification is essential, with a BSc in Environmental Health or equivalent industry experience highly desirable., • Experience auditing high-risk operations such as hotels with spa/swimming pool facilities would be a distinct advantage., • Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills - you’ll need to manage a busy and varied caseload., • An adaptable and relationship-led approach; client experience is everything to us.
