About Us GF Yourself! () is a new venture that aims to be the number one gluten-free challenger brand in the UK and beyond. Our mission is simple; to bring delicious, exciting, good value and hard-to-find gluten-free products to our customers. We launched in September 2025 with a small trial to customers for home subscription boxes, and early traction has exceeded expectations. Now we’re looking to scale this arm of the venture and over time broaden this gluten-free brand beyond just subscription boxes into many other channels (own brand, new products, b2b, events, online shop, etc). GF Yourself! is a new business being built by Ideas Lab () is a new breed of startup builder - we launch multiple ventures simultaneously from napkin sketch to scale, on an agnostic basis (all sectors). With our founder, team and investors having over a decade of experience spotting market opportunities, scaling and exiting businesses across industries, we're building a venture creation engine that works. Six months in, we've already trialled multiple initial ventures and secured continued investment. The Role Business Lead – GF Yourself!| Full-time | Hybrid between London WeWork & Leamington Spa ‘The Fold’. This isn't your typical corporate role. If you’re gluten-free (or passionate about gluten-free/allergies/health/food/other specific diets), you’ll know the market has huge potential - but also some big gaps. We’re looking for someone entrepreneurial, hands-on, and ready to grow with us from the start. You would be joining a very early-stage business. We have spent the last six months defining the business and preparing for launch via our market entry offering – the GF Yourself! gluten-free subscription boxes. We started marketing in August and although very early days, to date the box has been a great success; the first month’s product sold out much quicker than our (admittedly high) expectations and customer feedback to date has been fantastic. We have signed up double the number of customers we thought we would by this stage. We are very well positioned to drive growth over the coming months and make quite a splash with this new brand in an outdated part of the food / allergy sector. As a result, we are now looking to scale by hiring an entrepreneurial leader to run our new GF Yourself! subscription box offering end-to-end: from sales and marketing through to operations and customer experience, plus help us plot a path to branch out beyond subscription boxes over time. You’ll work closely with the Ideas Lab founding team and be responsible for growing the fledgling GF Yourself! team. Key Responsibilities Sales & Marketing: In conjunction with Ideas Lab marketers, develop and execute campaigns to attract and retain subscribers, using digital channels, partnerships, deals with retail, companies and other creative ideas. You will be an optimisation guru and always looking for that 1% improvement on D2C channels! Product & Packaging Development: Work with suppliers and the team to refine the product range, packaging, and overall box experience. New product/Brand development: Working with the team to explore new revenue streams for the brand across own brand food items, branded merchandise, events, etc. Customer Experience: Own the customer journey, handling queries and feedback to ensure an outstanding service. Fulfilment & Operations: Oversee the (outsourced) end-to-end process of preparing and delivering subscription boxes, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment. Commercial Accountability: Take responsibility for revenue, costs, and margins, with clear accountability for delivering against agreed targets. Data & Reporting: Track sales, churn, and customer feedback; use insights to recommend improvements and identify new opportunities. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Process Building: Create and refine repeatable processes across sales, fulfilment, and customer service as the business grows. Essential Requirements Experience and skills: · 3–5+ years of experience in a commercially focused role covering some mix of sales, marketing, operations, or customer management. · Background in food & drink, consumer products, e-commerce, or subscription businesses would be an advantage. · Strong track record of taking ownership, delivering results, and juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. · Comfortable being hands-on and rolling up your sleeves, as well as thinking strategically about growth. · Excellent written and verbal skills with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and professionally with suppliers of all sizes. Education: Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience. Desirable Qualifications · Experience starting your own venture or project (even that side hustle counts!) or exposure to venture capital/startup incubation. · Some experience in retail, food & drink, health, allergies, consumer products, e-commerce, or subscription businesses would be an advantage What We're Looking For · Strong insight into food & drink, retail, or consumer products. · Entrepreneurial mindset with genuine curiosity about gluten-free food (or other similar allergy / diet related fields) and a strong drive to build a business in this space. · Adaptability to thrive in a fast-changing environment and juggle competing priorities. · Problem-solving approach combining analytical rigor with creative thinking. · Highly collaborative – ability to build a strong culture within GF Yourself!, work closely with the Ideas Lab team and build excellent relationships with suppliers of all scales. What We Offer Compensation: £40,000-55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Equity: Membership of our staff equity scheme for GF Yourself!, providing a share in the growth you help create (with potential opportunities in the future at our other ventures!). Work Environment: Hybrid/remote working between London WeWork and Leamington Spa ‘the Fold’ co-working spaces (travel expenses covered).
