Job Overview: Novatus Global is seeking an experienced Regulatory Business Analyst with transaction reporting experience to oversee our Managed Services work. This role is focused on client delivery and advisory work, rather than product or platform development. You will use outputs from Novatus’ market-leading RegTech solution, En:ACT, to help clients identify reporting issues and implement practical solutions to improve the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of their transaction reporting. Acting as a strategic advisor, you will work closely with client compliance, operations, and technology teams to analyse reporting results, diagnose root causes, and recommend changes across processes, controls, data, and operating models to enable successful ongoing reporting. Key Responsibilities Client Advisory & Managed Services Delivery • Act as a trusted regulatory reporting advisor to clients, supporting them through ongoing managed services engagements., • Use En:ACT reporting outputs, results, and analytics to identify reporting deficiencies and control weaknesses., • Work with client teams to design and recommend practical remediation actions, including process changes, data improvements, governance enhancements, and operational controls., • Support clients in improving the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of their transaction reporting submissions., • Provide clear, structured advice on how regulatory requirements translate into effective reporting outcomes. Regulatory Analysis & Interpretation • Apply a broad understanding of global transaction reporting regimes (e.g. EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, CFTC, SEC, ASIC, MAS) to support client analysis and advisory work., • Interpret regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations in the context of client reporting issues and operating models., • Support impact assessments and gap analyses related to regulatory change, audits, or regulatory reviews. Stakeholder Engagement • Work directly with client stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Data teams., • Facilitate workshops and discussions to explain reporting issues, root causes, and recommended solutions., • Communicate complex regulatory and data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Analysis & Problem Solving • Perform detailed analysis of transaction reporting data, exceptions, and trends to support remediation planning., • Identify systemic issues and recurring themes across client reporting populations., • Support prioritisation of remediation activities based on regulatory risk and client objectives. Documentation & Reporting • Produce clear client-ready documentation, including analysis summaries, findings reports, remediation roadmaps, and regulatory insights., • Maintain high-quality internal documentation to support consistent managed services delivery. Continuous Improvement • Contribute to the evolution of Novatus’ managed services approach by identifying common client challenges and best practices., • Share insights and learnings across teams to improve service delivery and client outcomes., • Stay informed on regulatory developments, industry trends, and supervisory focus areas relevant to transaction reporting. Broader Team Contributions: • When capacity allows, apply regulatory expertise to support regulatory horizon scanning and rule development for the platform, including implementation, data mapping, and product duties. About You: • Broad experience or understanding of transaction reporting across one or more regulatory regimes (no requirement to specialise in a single regulation)., • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret reporting results and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations., • Proven client-facing experience, with confidence engaging stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor., • Experience working in regulatory reporting, compliance advisory, operations, consulting, or managed services environments., • Ability to bridge regulatory requirements with real-world client processes and operating models., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple client priorities., • Comfortable working with data outputs and analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SQL or similar), though not a hands-on developer role.
