Regional Supply Chain Manager\n\nAn established and growing organisation is seeking to appoint a Regional Supply Chain Manager to play a key role in the development and management of a high-performing supply chain function. Working in close collaboration with Operations, Pre-Construction, Bid, and Estimating teams, you will support the successful delivery of refurbishment and construction projects across a diverse portfolio of sectors, including education, healthcare, hospitality, and student accommodation.\n\nPosition: Regional Supply Chain Manager\n\nLocation: Stoke-On-Trent\n\nSalary: Up to £70,000 per annum + car allowance + Package\n\nContract Type: Permanent (Hybrid working)\n\nStart date: Immediately available\n\nA significant proportion of projects are delivered within live operational environments, requiring a supply chain that consistently delivers against the highest standards of safety, programme certainty, quality, and customer satisfaction.\n\nThis position offers the opportunity to take ownership of regional supply chain capability, ensuring the effective selection, onboarding, and management of subcontractors and suppliers. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing commercial performance, mitigating risk, and driving continuous improvement across project delivery.\n\nThe organisation operates a hybrid working model, enabling a balance between home working and regular regional engagement with suppliers, stakeholders, and project teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop, implement, and continuously refine regional and national supply chain strategies aligned with corporate objectives, margin improvement targets, and category management plans\nIdentify opportunities to enhance supply chain capability, resilience, and competitiveness across all key trades and disciplines\nEstablish and maintain effective relationships with a broad network of subcontractors and suppliers\nLead supplier performance management activities, including KPI monitoring, reviews, and improvement planning\nEnsure clear ownership and governance of key supplier and manufacturer relationships\nReview and assess supplier pricing submissions and market movements, providing robust commercial recommendations\nSupport the negotiation of rates, terms, and agreements to deliver best value and mitigate cost pressures\nContribute to rebate, cost-saving, and value-generation initiatives, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting against targets\nMaintain a balanced, compliant, and regionally appropriate supply base, including mapping of trade coverage and identification of gaps or risks\nSupport due diligence, onboarding, and compliance processes to ensure all suppliers meet required standards\nWork closely with operational and pre-construction teams to support tendering, mobilisation, and delivery phases\nContribute to value engineering and supplier selection processes to optimise project outcomes\nProvide supply chain expertise to support continuous improvement and business transformation initiatives\nMonitor external market conditions, supply chain trends, and sector developments\nProvide insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency\nProduce accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and documentation to support performance tracking and decision-making\nEnsure all activities are conducted in line with company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements \n\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate:\n\nProven experience in a supply chain, procurement, or commercial role within the construction or refurbishment sector\nExperience operating within live environments such as healthcare, education, or hospitality settings\nA strong understanding of pre-construction processes, tendering, and project delivery requirements\nWell-developed analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and market information\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels\nA proactive, solutions-focused approach, with strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities\nThe ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment\nA full UK driving licence, with willingness to travel regionally as required \n\nHow to Apply:\n\nTo apply, please submit your updated CV
