BAM UK & Ireland are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially astute TFM Estimator for it’s Ventures segment. This position can be based at any of our Southern UK Offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for Total Facilities Management contracts, covering both hard and soft services. This role plays a critical part in supporting bid submissions, pricing strategies, and ensuring profitability across new and existing contracts. The position will involve a mixture of working from home, on site and working out of any regional office across the South. BAM operates a flexible working policy. Making Possible • Develop cost estimates for TFM bids, including planned and reactive maintenance, cleaning, security, catering, waste management, and other FM services. • Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to understand client requirements. • Liaise with internal stakeholders (operations, procurement, finance) and external suppliers to gather pricing data. • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and pricing models using industry-standard tools and internal templates. • Support bid teams with commercial input during tender submissions and presentations. • Conduct risk analysis and value engineering to optimise bid competitiveness. • Maintain a database of historical costs and supplier rates for benchmarking. • Participate in post-tender negotiations and contract handovers. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. As Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments while supporting the Finance Shared Services team in delivering high‑volume transactional services. It requires building and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient issue resolution and smooth operational flow. The position also plays a key part in safeguarding financial integrity by ensuring full compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal financial controls. Making Possible As Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the following: • Ensure accurate validation and processing of supplier invoices, including material and CIS/RCT suppliers. • Maintain compliance with company SLAs and financial policies. • Collaborate closely with Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure prompt and accurate payments. • Support the delivery of business-as-usual finance operations alongside ERP-related activities. • Validate invoices for correct PO, VAT, company name, and accounts payable details. • Identify and resolve duplicate invoices; coordinate the provision of credit notes. • Process high volumes of material purchase and CIS/RCT invoices in line with company SLAs. • Manage shared mailboxes and respond to supplier queries promptly and professionally. • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Maintain electronic filing of all documentation to ensure audit readiness. • Assist with ad hoc departmental projects as required. • Ensure accurate data entry and payment processing with strong attention to detail. • Use SAP, COINS, Basware Alusta, Rental Results, and Concept systems proficiently. • Communicate effectively—both written and verbal—with internal teams and external suppliers. • Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments and with suppliers. • Work to strict deadlines and escalate issues appropriately to avoid delays. • Apply knowledge of the construction industry, including Plant Hire, CIS, and VAT, where relevant.
