Working in a 3-bed children’s home, you will support young people aged 5–18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and learning disabilities (LD). Applicants must hold a Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma (or equivalent) and a full UK manual driving licence. • Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker – Qualified (EBD/LD), • Employer: Flourish (Gloucestershire) Ltd (rated 3.1/5 stars), • Pay: From £29,000 per year (includes 5 contractual sleeps per month), • Overtime: £14.94 per hour (inclusive of annual leave), • Hours: Average 37.5 hours per week (163 hours per month), • Job Type: Full-Time, • Contract Type: Permanent, • Shift & Schedule: Flexible hours including weekends, evenings, bank holidays; overtime available, • Provide support, stability, and fun for children aged 5–18, • Assist with daily routines, care plans, and emotional support, • Be resilient and ready to handle challenging behaviours, • Work flexibly across weekends, evenings, and holidays, • Drive company cars to support children’s needs (full UK licence required), • Minimum 1 year of experience in residential care or working with challenging behaviours, • Full UK manual driving licence with fewer than 6 points – required, • Passion for working with children and young people, • Strong communication skills and resilience, • Must be eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship or employer switch available), • Ongoing training and regular supervisions, • Support from a Clinical Psychologist, • Development opportunities and career progression #J-18808-Ljbffr
