Maintenance Engineer Hinckley Competitive salary Monday–Friday | 08:00–16:00Permanent | Full-TimeJoin a Growing Engineering Business We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering company during an exciting period of growth and expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for maintaining plant equipment, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites.Key Responsibilities • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities, • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and coordinate repairs, • Complete maintenance schedules, reports, and records using a CMMS system, • Support equipment inspections, statutory compliance, and safety activities, • Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects, • Help maximise equipment reliability, efficiency, and uptime, • Perform basic fabrication and repair work where required, • Work across multiple sites to support operational requirementsAbout You To be successful in this role, you will have:, • Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment, • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, • Experience carrying out both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics, • Good understanding of engineering health and safety standards, • Fabrication experience, including basic welding and repair work, • Full UK Driving LicenceDesirable Qualifications & Experience, • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, • Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), • Knowledge of PSSR regulations, • IPAF and/or MEWP certification, • ATEX experience or awarenessWhat's on Offer?, • Competitive salary, • Monday-Friday daytime hours with excellent work-life balance, • Opportunity to join a growing business with ambitious expansion plans, • Genuine career development and progression opportunities, • Varied and interesting role supporting multiple sites, • Company pension scheme and additional benefits, • Supportive management team and positive working environment, • Long-term job security within a stable and expanding organisationApply Today If you're a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge and want to join a business investing in its people, technology, and future growth, we'd love to hear from you.
