The Role The Fire Safety Advisor is part of a team of specialist fire safety and compliance professionals reporting to the Fire Safety Manager. The main purpose of the job is to provide advice and guidance on fire safety matters to the Principal Contractor (NNB GenCo) to ensure fire safety standards are set and assure the maintenance of these standards across the HPC project. Role: Senior Risk Analyst Position: Contract Location: Hinkley Point - Hybrid working / 3 days on-site Duration: 12 months Pay: £425 (paye) - £563 (umbrella) The Role Working within a key aspect of an Integrated Project Controls (Risk) team, our team aims to act as a centre of excellence for project controls implementation. We are the intelligent owners of the single source of delivery performance information, operating as a integrated enabler for the successful delivery of the HPC project. We work as part of a matrix organisation supporting one of the following programmes/areas within the project: Central, Site, Engineering, MEH, Nuclear Island (NI), Conventional Island and Balance of Plant, Instrumentation and Controls, and Commissioning. The role of Senior Risk Analyst is to act as an expert of the Risk team across the parts of HPC project following the Risk strategy uniformly across the project. They will act as a technical lead for the Risk team ensuring the implementation of Risk specific processes and framework. They will follow all governance arrangements for the Risk team providing effective reporting of Risk and Opportunity information in a timely and accurate manner, supporting others to achieve the same results. They will manage the delivery of specific contracts which range in value from £10m to £500m. The requirements for radiography will be identified within the contractor's workscope by Engineering standards both. Contractors shall justify and agree the NDT technique and amount of on-site NDT, then request Radiography through the Radiography Coordinator. The Radiography Coordinator will check the adequacy of planning and preparations and will confirm adequate safe operation between Tier 1 Contractors considering the areas concerned, shift patterns and clearing of areas of personnel prior to radiography taking place in accordance with the HSE guidelines and Company Standards. They will ensure work is adequately planned, coordinated, prepared, and risks managed for the work to proceed safely, to time and quality by the Contractor Principal accountabilities The Radiography Coordinator shall be responsible for the functional management of radiography performance, interfaces between radiography service providers and installation contractors in a timely manner, taking into consideration any time/safety constraints or other requirements prior to radiography taking place. They shall drive current and future performance, ensure an open learning environment leads to continuous improvement and delivery to safety, quality, time and cost constraints. The Radiography Coordinator shall manage the storage of radiographic film after interpretation or until delivered to storage as lifetime quality records, as well as developing strategy related to the digitisation of radiographs for key components. The Radiographic Coordinator will be also champion non- radiological testing technologies as a means of ensuring ALARP in meeting nuclear safety requirements. When new and innovative techniques are proposed, the Senior Radiographic Coordinator will liaise with the Radiography Subject Matter Expert and NNB RPA body, ensure that ALARP justifications have been produced by the contractors and approved prior to the specific work starting. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Delivery Lead to support delivery of PTLS works (Pools, Tanks, Liners and Spools) within the Nuclear Island, with a clear future pipeline into process and plant piping works as the project progresses. This role sits at the heart of one of Europe's most complex construction environments and offers long-term continuity on a flagship nuclear project. It is a hands-on, delivery-focused position for construction leaders experienced in mechanical installation within heavy civil and containment structures . About the Role As a Mechanical Construction Delivery Lead, you will take ownership of PTLS-focused mechanical construction activities delivered by Tier 1 contract partners within your allocated area. You will operate at the interface of reinforced concrete civils, steel liners, mechanical fit-out, fabricated pipe spools, welding and QA , ensuring safe, compliant, and programme-aligned delivery. As construction phases mature, the role will naturally transition into process and plant piping scope , providing long-term involvement across successive stages of the Nuclear Island build. You will lead and coordinate Construction Delivery Managers (CDMs) and work closely with Area Leads, Senior Construction Delivery Managers, engineering, logistics, quality, and safety teams to manage complex construction interfaces. This is a site-based leadership role requiring strong technical understanding, visible presence, and confident decision-making in a safety-critical environment. Principal Accountabilities Lead and develop a team of Construction Delivery Managers delivering PTLS and future piping works Oversee mechanical construction activities including pools, tanks, liners, spools, and mechanical fit-out within civil structures Manage interfaces between civils, mechanical installation, temporary works, and sequencing activities Drive health, safety, quality, and environmental performance in line with nuclear safety culture and KPIs Chair and lead PLOWs and construction coordination meetings with Tier 1 contractors Ensure short-term plans, milestones, and construction sequencing are achieved to programme Oversee site logistics, labour deployment, access, and readiness activities Support contractor mobilisation and ensure construction readiness requirements are met Lead quality assurance activities including documentation review, surveillance, pressure testing, and lifetime records Contribute to reporting, performance tracking, and risk management across assigned work areas Ideal Candidate Profile You will be a senior construction delivery professional with strong mechanical experience in containment, tankage, or process environments , combined with an understanding of heavy civils and concrete interfaces . You are comfortable operating in highly regulated, safety-critical projects and bring a calm, solutions-focused approach to complex site delivery challenges.
