Facilities Coordinator Location: Dyce, Aberdeenshire (BP Site – 1–4 Wellheads Avenue, AB21 7PB) Hourly Rate: £14.79 per hour (Inside IR35) Contract: 24th November 2025 – 27th March 2026 Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) Overview We are recruiting a Facilities Coordinator to join a busy on-site Workplace Support team at a major BP client site in Dyce. Working as part of a team of three and reporting to the Soft Services Manager, you will play a key role in delivering excellent workplace standards, customer service, and hands-on support across the building. This is a varied, physical role that involves daily floor walks, meeting room setup, furniture moves, goods receipting, basic repairs, and supporting wider facilities activities. It is not an admin-based role — most of your time will be spent around the building ensuring the workplace is safe, functional, and ready to use. There is the potential for the role to go permanent as the team is seeking a long-term hire. Key Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service to all colleagues, visitors, and clients. Manage enquiries and issues professionally, confidently, and tactfully. Conduct daily site walk checks, identifying defects, logging them, and following through to resolution. Maintain responsibility for health & safety within your designated area. Ensure workspaces, collaboration areas, and common spaces are tidy, safe, and ready for use. Check office equipment and report faults as needed. Support workplace changes including office moves and furniture reconfigurations . Set up meeting rooms for internal and external requirements. Complete vehicle safety checks on the company van and drive it for collections/deliveries. Collect mail from the Royal Mail sorting office. X-ray all incoming items and manage goods in/out. Accept and log courier deliveries. Action and update tasks within Corrigo (ticketing system) including reporting recurring issues. Provide meeting room/event support as required. Carry out lifting and manual work (packing, moving, loading, meeting room setup). Any additional duties as assigned. Hours & Working Environment Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm with an unpaid 1-hour lunch break No travel required outside of the Dyce location High level of interaction with internal teams and BP client stakeholders Fast-paced environment with a physical workload Experience Required 1–3 years' experience in facilities, workplace support, soft services, or a similar environment Experience working in a corporate environment is strongly preferred Experience with meeting room setup, porterage, and manual handling tasks Familiarity with workplace ticketing systems (e.g., Corrigo) beneficial Skills & Attributes Must-haves (Top 3): Full, clean driving licence (You will drive the on-site van for deliveries/collections) Strong customer-facing skills and professionalism in a corporate setting A proactive, can-do attitude with flexibility and reliability Additional skills: Confident, friendly, and flexible approach Good understanding of Health & Safety principles Reliable, conscientious, and able to prioritise effectively Ability to interpret floor layout drawings Competent with Microsoft applications Nice to have: Previous experience in corporate facilities or FM environments Health & Safety knowledge or training Not required: Degrees or formal qualifications Why This Role?
