Warehouse Manager Location: KentSalary: £45,000 – £55,000 per yearJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations at their Sittingbourne facility. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, developing the team, and managing inventory and logistics workflows to a high standard. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive leader with strong warehouse management experience and a passion for creating a safe, organised, and high-performing environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth, efficient workflows, • Manage, coach, and develop warehouse staff to achieve performance targets, • Oversee goods-in, goods-out, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock control processes, • Maintain accurate inventory levels through effective stock management systems, • Ensure all health & safety regulations and company policies are followed, • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise productivity and reduce costs, • Support logistics planning and liaise with transport partners as required, • Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and operational data for reporting, • Manage staffing levels, shift planning, and resource allocation Essential: • Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Warehouse Supervisor role, • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams, • Excellent understanding of warehouse processes, stock control, and logistics operations, • Strong working knowledge of health & safety and compliance requirements, • Ability to analyse operational data and drive improvement initiatives, • Competent user of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office, • Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities, • Experience within FMCG, distribution, manufacturing, or similar environments, • FLT licence(s), • Competitive salary between £45,000–£55,000 (depending on experience), • Opportunity to lead a key site within a growing organisation, • Long-term career development potential, • Supportive team culture and modern warehouse environment
