Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service to ensure the success of our establishment. Site opening experience is essential as this is a new operation. Duties • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including events, sales and serving processes, • Supervise and manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, • Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to optimise profitability, • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, • Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality experiences to guests, • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and quality standards are met, • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction, • Monitor sales performance and develop strategies for growth, • Work on building relationships with local residents, creating a community feel and reaching out to local businesses.
