The focus of this role is delivering exceptional client service through clear, expert advice on a range of commercial property and residential investment matters. You will be joining a supportive, proactive environment that values professional development, teamwork, and long-term client relationships.Key Responsibilities, • Provide legal advice, guidance and innovative solutions on commercial property and residential investment matters., • Support the team in achieving fee targets by assisting a broad range of clients across the business., • Work closely with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to structure property transactions effectively., • Draft, review and negotiate legal documentation., • Identify legal risks and obstacles affecting transactions and guide clients on mitigation strategies., • Stay updated on relevant real estate legislation, regulations, and market standards in the UK., • Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations including AML and KYC requirements., • Supervise junior team members as required., • Maintain excellent file and case management standards., • Demonstrate commercial awareness, including effective time recording, billing and cashflow control., • Build and nurture client/referrer relationships and seek opportunities for future work., • Contribute positively to departmental and firmwide initiatives including business development., • Provide cover and support during colleague absences., • Work confidently and independently without routine administrative support.Candidate ProfileQualifications, • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (via LPC and training contract; or SQE route; or CILEX to Fellow level with admission by SRA).Skills & Attributes, • Professional and confident communicator, both written and verbal., • Positive, client-focused attitude with strong relationship-building skills., • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability., • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex matters., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of work., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy team., • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements., • Demonstrates alignment with core values such as teamwork, integrity and proactive service.Desirable, • Experience using Practice Evolve or other legal practice management systems., • Familiarity with Practical Law and LexisNexis research tools.
