Are you the kind of designer who asks "why" before "what"? At Grand Central, our DNA is simple: For the Curious. We don't just want someone who can push pixels around a screen or make things look pretty. We’re looking for a Junior Designer who wants to pull briefs apart, see how they work, and find better ways to put them back together. The Role: You already have the foundational skills: a relevant degree or a portfolio that proves you understand typography, colour theory, and layout. You know your way around the Adobe Creative Suite. But you also know that's just the starting line. As a Junior Designer here, you won't be pigeonholed. You’ll be mentored directly by our senior creative team, getting your hands dirty across a massive range of disciplines: brand campaigns, print, digital, film, and physical experiential spaces. We’ll teach you the ropes in Figma and 3D, help you master presentation design, and explore the frontier of AI tools together. In return, we expect you to be a sponge, ready to absorb feedback, pitch in on brainstorms, and continuously push your own boundaries. You are: • Fundamentally Sound: You sweat the details on alignment, hierarchy, and craft., • Multidisciplinary Curious: You aren't afraid to step out of your comfort zone, whether that's learning a new 3D tool or storyboarding a film., • Collaborative: You leave your ego at the door and thrive on constructive feedback., • Obsessively Curious: You keep up with trends, tech, and the world around you. How to Apply (Please read carefully): We want to see how your mind works. Please send us the link to your online portfolio, but do not just hit apply. Along with your portfolio, include a short note telling us about the last creative "rabbit hole" you fell down. What’s something you recently got curious about, researched obsessively, or taught yourself? If you just send a generic CV without the note, we’ll assume you aren't that curious after all. Apply via LinkedIn and if you need to send the note separately drop me a mail . Salary: Circa £24,000 based on experience + benefits More info can be found at:
