The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join a busy and collaborative supply chain team. The role plays a key part in improving supplier performance, validating new suppliers, and supporting purchasing activities to ensure robust, cost-effective, and reliable supply across the business. Key Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer: • Conduct supplier audits and support ongoing supplier performance improvement, • Validate and onboard new suppliers in line with quality and operational requirements, • Manage supplier non-conformances through to resolution using ERP systems, • Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to support delivery performance and cost efficiency Requirements of the Supplier Quality Engineer: • HNC or equivalent qualification in a technical or engineering discipline, • Proven experience using ERP systems within warehouse, materials management, or planning functions, • Strong knowledge of supplier scorecards, vendor management, and continuous improvement methodologies, • Full UK driving licence with the ability to visit suppliers as required Benefits • Competitive salary of £36,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, • Company pension scheme, • Free on-site parking, • Full-time, permanent on-site role offering stability and influence within the supply chain If you are a Supplier Quality Engineer looking to make a tangible impact within a specialist manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you.
