Job Title: Solution Architect - Service Now Job Type: Contract (Inside IR35) Duration: 6 months Work model: Remote Job Summary: In this role, you will provide technical leadership to the team & work closely with client enterprise architecture team and client ServiceNow Teams. We are seeking a ServiceNow IRM/GRC Architect with strong exposure to GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities to design and deliver intelligent risk, compliance, and governance solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role will focus on embedding AI-driven insights, automation, and autonomous workflows into IRM processes to improve risk visibility, decision-making, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Provides technical leadership to the team Creates and maintains a detailed view of the existing architecture Designs and collaboration with Business Process Analysts and Developers in the creation of a High-Level Solution Design Document. Defines and communicates, at an architectural and design level, technical solutions aligned with business problems and systems architecture. Ensures technical governance process and policies are being adhered to. Provides architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions. Creates and maintains a detailed view of integrations Creates and maintains a Technical Implementation Roadmap. Resolves technical escalations, including responding to defects Participates in process workshops Works closely with client enterprise architecture team and client ServiceNow Teams Periodically Reviews Configuration to ensure Platform health Assess instance health (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) by conducting ServiceNow Health Scan Reviews design and code per sprint to ensure quality Provides hands on assistance with the detailed design and implementation approach of selected projects. Ensures design is within the boundaries of Licensed modules else communicates changes in license to the client. Maintains expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, products, capabilities, and ecosystem. Assists in migrating configuration across instances Support COE in continuous development of training paths for professional advancement. Contribute to ongoing definition of best development and solution practices. Lead training workshops as means to spread experiences gained across the practice. Qualifications we seek in you! An architect profile for Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) involves a specialized role focused on designing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This individual is a technical leader who bridges business requirements and technical execution across these specific domains. Core Responsibilities An architect in this domain is responsible for the overall design, technical integrity, and implementation of the IRM, GRC solutions. Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions for GRC, IRM (including Risk Management, Policy and Compliance, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management) modules. Architect AI-augmented IRM solutions , leveraging Generative AI for risk analysis, control evaluation, and audit insights and Agentic AI patterns for autonomous risk identification, assessment, and remediation workflows Strategic Alignment: Define and maintain the platform standards and roadmap, ensuring the solutions align with organizational business strategy and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT). Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed and customizations are minimized. Integration and Automation: Design and manage integrations with third-party tools (e.g., Splunk, Workday, REST/SOAP endpoints) and leverage automation via Flow Designer, Business Rules, and Script Includes. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure successful project delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Platform Governance: Ensure the security, performance, and integrity of the ServiceNow platform, managing upgrades and enforcing governance across modules. Key Skills and Experience Successful architects in this field typically possess a blend of deep technical expertise and functional domain knowledge. Platform Expertise: Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) with the ServiceNow platform, with a significant portion in an architect or lead role. Module Specialization: Deep expertise in the module: GRC, IRM. Experience designing or consuming agentic workflows (multi-step, goal-oriented AI automation). Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and experience with data models like CMDB/CSDM. Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and architecture designs. Problem-Solving: A passion for solving complex problems through clean architecture and platform-native tools. Relevant Certifications While experience is crucial, relevant certifications demonstrate validated expertise. ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA): The highest level of technical certification. Certified System Administrator (CSA): Foundational certification for all ServiceNow professionals. Certified Application Developer (CAD): Validates the ability to build custom applications.
