This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Universitys research community, enhancing scholarly communication, and leading the development of open research services. You will work closely with academic staff, researchers, and professional services to provide expert advice on research support, copyright, rights retention, and open access. You will also lead the development of researcher skills training, manage the institutional repository (WRaP), and contribute to the strategic direction of research services. You will be an enthusiastic and forward-thinking professional with a strong understanding of scholarly communication, open access, copyright and research support. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with a commitment to professional development. Library Services operates out of The Hive, a ground-breaking, fully integrated academic and public library, run in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, which provides services to all members of the University and community.
