    We are looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our team at Flora SW17, a café, brunch restaurant and cocktail bar located in Tooting Market, London. The role involves preparing and cooking breakfast and brunch dishes on weekday and weekend mornings, as well as working evening shifts on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch and evening dishes to a high standard., • Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation., • Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen., • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations., • Manage food preparation and stock efficiently., • Work effectively as part of our kitchen team. Requirements: • Previous experience working as a chef in a café or restaurant., • Experience preparing breakfast and brunch dishes., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment., • Good organisational skills and attention to detail., • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently., • Availability to work weekday and weekend mornings, as well as evening shifts on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Working Hours: Breakfast and brunch shifts: Weekday and weekend mornings. Evening shifts: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Exact working hours and salary will be discussed during the interview.     Part Time Baker We're looking for a new baker to join us for immediate start! You'll work alongside our Head Baker (Kat), who'll train you in baking our granola and other cereals. She isn't leaving, but would eventually work different days from you once all trained. Due to the volume of applicants for this role, we will only consider those that send us a direct message of interest. This is a hands-on, hard-working role in a small team where everyone pulls together — and for the right person, there's real scope for the role to grow the role. Typical Hours • Saturday: 9–2 (no break), • Wednesday: 10–5 (1 hour unpaid break) and ideally more weekdays in future. Key Responsibilities • Bake granola and other cereals according to recipes and release criteria, • Package products to specification, • Clean and wash up, • Adhere to hygiene standards and ingredient stock Essential • 3+ years' experience in commercial kitchen environments, • Responsible and reliable, • Flexible and hard-working, • Works well and communicates within a small team, • Fluent in English (spoken and written), • Strong attention to quality and detail, • Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene What We Offer • £13.65 per hour, following successful completion of a 2-month probation period at £13.20/hour, • A meaningful role and place at the heart of a small, passionate food business Ideal candidates must have previous baking or food production experience, excellent attention to detail, and a positive, hard-working, small-team-oriented attitude.
