We are excited to invite a passionate Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our brand new 4-bed home in Doncaster! \n\nMain Purpose of the Job\n As the Registered Manager, you will be the heart of our home, ensuring high-quality care and promoting the rights of young people. You will lead a dedicated team of care workers, guiding them to achieve positive outcomes for the young people in our care. \n\nYour Responsibilities\n Service and Practice Management: \n\n • Deliver high-quality care in line with relevant legislation and organizational policies.\n, • Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring staff are well-trained and informed.\n, • Keep accurate records for both young people and employees, implementing effective monitoring systems.\n, • Provide management information and statistical data as required.\n, • Innovate childcare techniques and contribute positively to the organization’s ethos.\n, • Chair internal and external meetings, preparing agendas and reports.\n, • Take on-call responsibilities and cover shifts as needed.\n, • Oversee admissions and discharges, ensuring a smooth process.\n, • Lead with vision and inspire change in line with our organizational values.\n, • Participate in recruiting new employees, ensuring all checks are completed.\n, • Ensure staff are inducted, supervised, and appraised according to policy.\n, • Support continuous professional development and mandatory training for the team.\n, • Manage rotas and monthly expenses efficiently.\n, • Monitor the service budget and ensure financial targets are met.\n, • Promote the organization positively with external agencies and the public.\n, • Liaise with commissioners regarding admissions.\n, • Lead psychotherapy leadership and management forums.\n\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n, • Enthusiasm for providing the highest quality care and education.\n, • Experience in managing a team effectively.\n, • 25 days of annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays.\n, • £3,000 bonus for an Outstanding Ofsted Report.\n, • Full occupancy bonus of £600 a month.\n, • On-call payments: £25 on weekdays, £35 on weekends.\n, • 39 hours full-time, with sleep-in duties as per the home’s rota.\n, • Office days for administrative duties as needed.\n, • Petrol allowance for using your own car (proof of business insurance required).\n
