We're Hiring! Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the London Market? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Change Team as a Contract PM for an exciting business and technology programme in our wholesale broking function. This multi-year programme offers the opportunity to genuinely influence the direction of the industry and be a part of a transformation strategy. If you have extensive experience with London Market broker and carrier processes and the ability to challenge the status quo, we want to hear from you. About the Role • You will work closely with the Portfolio and Programme Managers as well as business leaders to shape and deliver strategic business outcomes., • You will manage project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and programmes whilst ensuring adherence to project management and governance principles., • You will engage closely with sponsors and stakeholders, influencing, and ensuring delivery against project and programme outcomes, • You will contribute to the development of Programme Workstreams to ensure effective delivery of business outcomes., • You will provide insightful reporting on project progress to key collaborators., • You will lead requirement gathering workshops with internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers., • You will work with the wider transformation team to ensure the Programme deliverables align with transformation timeline., • Creation of workstream plans, tracking deliverables, milestones and tasks on the critical path., • Identifying risks and ensuring risk owners and appropriate mitigations., • RAID management and reporting About you As a Senior Project Manager your knowledge and expertise should include: • Detailed experience of the London Market. This will be critical to success in this role., • Detailed understanding of both the Broker and Carrier placement journeys is required., • Consistent track record in partnering with business leadership in the development and achievement of strategies to solve the business need, using multiple tools including technology., • Ability to build presentations and write business cases for leadership audiences, • Experience with communicating effectively with different levels of internal and external management / leadership while influencing multiple collaborator groups., • Able to lead multiple priorities concurrently and handle pressure situations effectively and professionally., • Advanced budgeting/costing knowledge., • Sophisticated problem-solving tools and methods., • Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills., • Experience in contract management and interpretation., • Extensive understanding of Project Management methodologies (such as PMP and Agile) and can demonstrate a pragmatic application of these to a given situation, • The successful initiation, planning, execution, and closure of projects, • Proven record of leading large and sophisticated Projects with relevant industry experience, • Negotiating with all parts of an organisation to secure resource and/or budget, meet deadlines, attain approvals, embed process, and handle conflicts, • Excellent communicator, critical thinker and problem solver and time management skills., • Facilitation of project meetings with internal colleagues and third parties We shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.
