About The Firm A well‑established law firm with strong reputation in real estate and commercial property law. The firm serves a diverse client base, including investors, developers, landlords, tenants, and corporate occupiers. The Role You will join the Commercial Property / Real Estate team and be responsible for managing your own caseload. Key duties will include: • Handling acquisitions and disposals (freehold & leasehold) of commercial properties., • Drafting, negotiating, and advising on leases (landlord/tenant) including renewals, surrenders, rent reviews., • Advising on property finance, development / site purchase, possibly secured lending., • Working with corporate teams on property aspects of business sales or acquisitions., • Working with external stakeholders: agents, surveyors, planning authorities, etc., • Maintaining strong client relationships; providing technically sound, commercially aware advice., • Keeping up to date with property law developments, Land Registry, environmental or planning law where relevant. Person Specification Essential: • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (with practising certificate)., • PQE level: typically 5-10 years (or else as specified) in commercial property / real estate law., • Proven experience with freehold & leasehold transactions, landlord & tenant matters., • Strong drafting, negotiation, communication skills., • Ability to manage your own caseload and meet deadlines., • Commercial awareness, client‑focused approach. Desirable: • Experience in property finance or development work., • Experience in higher value / London / large‑scale transactions., • Supervisory or mentoring experience., • Experience in using modern case management / legal tech systems.
