As a result, quality and precision are embedded into every stage of design and manufacture.\n\nWhat you’ll be doingThis is a hands-on, influential role covering inspection, compliance, problem-solving, and continuous improvement:\n\nOwning in-process and final inspection of components and finished assemblies\nWorking from engineering drawings, CAD data, and technical specifications\nUsing precision measuring equipment to verify tolerances and build quality\nMaking clear decisions on product acceptance and non-conformance\nDriving ISO 9001:2015 compliance and supporting audit activity\nLeading root cause investigations and implementing CAPA activity\nImproving manufacturing processes to reduce defects and improve reliability\nAnalysing quality trends to prevent recurring issues\nSupporting and developing supplier quality performance\nMaintaining accurate quality records, reports, and traceability dataWhat makes someone successful hereWe’re looking for someone who doesn’t just “check quality” — but improves it.\n\nYou’ll likely be someone who has:\n\nExperience in a Quality Engineer / Quality Inspector / Manufacturing Quality role\nStrong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data\nConfidence using precision measurement tools (gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.)\nSolid understanding of ISO 9001 environments\nA structured, methodical approach to problem solving\nExperience with root cause analysis tools (e.g. 5 Whys, Ishikawa)\nStrong attention to detail and ownership mindsetBonus experience (not essential)\nDefence, aerospace, or rugged/industrial manufacturing background\nExposure to RoHS / REACH / IP-rated product environments\nSix Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies\nERP/MRP quality systems experienceWhat’s on offer\nA genuinely influential role in a growing SME engineering business\nReal autonomy to improve systems, processes, and quality standards\nOpportunity to mentor and develop others\nClear progression pathway into Quality Manager (circa 2 years)\nCompetitive salary (depending on experience)\n25 days holiday bank holidays\nCompany pension\nOngoing training and development supportIf you’re ready to take ownership, influence change, and step into leadership — this is where that path starts, hit "APPLY NOW
