Job Description Job Title: IT Coordinator Department: AVPH Reports To: Director of Community Impact Hours: Full-time position; occasional evenings and weekends required Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00 hr. Job Summary: The IT Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the technological needs of their organization. They play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. Their duties often revolve around troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with staff, and developing strategies to optimize the use of technology within the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Oversee and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems., • Manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and efficient implementation of new technology solutions., • Provide first-line technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. --- Configuration of IT equipment., • Coordinate routine maintenance and upgrades of software, hardware, and network systems to ensure optimal performance and security., • Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including computers, peripherals, and software licenses., • Collaborate with external vendors for IT services and equipment procurement., • Ensure the security of the company’s IT systems, implementing necessary updates, patches, and backups., • Assist with training staff on the use of IT systems and best practices., • Monitor and resolve network connectivity issues and other IT-related incidents., • Document and maintain IT processes and procedures., • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices., • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for all IT equipment., • Maintain copier functionality, including clearing jams and managing supplies., • Create social media content/support flyer design., • Must be a collaborator on the social media committee., • Adhere to safety, privacy, and reporting protocols, including mandated reporting laws., • Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Proven experience as an IT Coordinator, IT Support Specialist, or similar role., • A knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, and software applications., • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues., • Familiarity with IT security best practices and data protection policies., • Hands-on experience with Canva, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Operate fax, photocopy and other office equipment Licensure and Certifications: • Current and maintained CA driver’s license, • Current/maintained auto insurance, • Own transportation for work-related purposes, • Current and maintained CPR, • Meet basic health requirements, background check, and physical job standards, • Work often performed under stressful and emotional conditions, • This position requires lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs., stooping, bending, squatting, sitting on the floor, walking, running (may be needed), • Must maintain HIPAA and agency confidentiality standards, • Required COVID-19 vaccination or have a valid exemption.
