Job Summary Dentive is looking for a Senior Accountant who will be a key contributor to our Accounting Team. The person will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions for a portfolio of dental practices. This role plays a key part in monthly and annual closing processes, financial reporting, and compliance with internal and external accounting standards. You will be able to work autonomously but we seek individuals with a keen attention to detail. This job is on site at our office located in Provo, UT. Essential Functions • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports, • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, • Contribute to the preparation of Accurate, Complete and Timely GAAP compliant financial statements, • Support budgeting and forecasting activities, • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status, • Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation, • Assist with federal, state, local and asset tax compliance, • Oversee accounting for fixed assets, • Monitor and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance, • Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and policies, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes Job Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience, • 5+ years of experience of progressive accounting, • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting, • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability, • Excellent organizational and communication skills, • Experience with Netsuite preferred, • Skilled in communicating with both internal and external customers, • Ability to collaborate and demonstrate a teamwork approach to job responsibilities, • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel. PowerPoint), • CPA certification a plus Physical /Other Requirements • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear., • Employees must exert up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects., • Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
