The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat a wide range of emergency conditions. • Provide comprehensive care for patients presenting with acute and life-threatening conditions., • Perform rapid assessments, triage, and initiate emergency interventions as required., • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage patient flow within the department., • Operate emergency and specialty equipment such as rapid infusors and Arctic Sun systems., • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure timely, evidence-based care., • Active New York RN license, • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience (including Pediatric exposure), • Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, • Epic EMR experience required, • Charge RN experience highly preferred, • Must provide:, • Updated resume with documented travel experience (if applicable), • Two recent ED Charge/Manager references, • Completed ED skills checklist, • Driver’s license (address matching demographics), • Nursys license verification report, • Unit Type: Emergency Department, • Total Beds: 64 (includes 2 Triage, 40 Acute, 6 Super Track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 Psych), • Patient Population: Newborn, Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric, • Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure, • Equipment Used: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun, • Floating: Required, • Scrub Color: Navy Blue, • Local candidates accepted (within 75 miles – adjusted pay may apply), • Block scheduling not guaranteed, • RTO must be included at time of submission HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
