As a Regional Sales Manager, you lead from the front by developing people, strengthening relationships, and driving disciplined, service-first growth across your region. This role is remote, with the ideal candidate being based within or near the assigned region to support regular in-market presence, ride-alongs, and team development. Regional travel is required. What You Do As a key player in Kustom’s sales organization, you lead and develop teams that help communities rebuild after fires, storms, floods, and other emergencies. This is not traditional sales. It requires urgency, trust-building, and a service-first mindset, paired with strong people leadership and operational discipline. As a Regional Sales Manager, you are accountable for both performance and development. You coach Territory Account Executives in the field, set clear expectations, reinforce consistent sales behaviors, and hold your team accountable to standards, activity, and results. You create an environment where people are supported, challenged, and equipped to succeed. You will: • Drive Growth, • Lead, coach, and support Territory Account Executives in proactive prospecting through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events, • Establish clear expectations around activity, pipeline health, and revenue performance, • Review pipeline, forecasts, and activity regularly to drive accountability and consistency, • Support and coach solution-based presentations that demonstrate why Kustom is the trusted partner when disaster strikes, • Build Deep, Trust-Based Relationships, • Support Territory Account Executives in becoming a first call when clients experience a property loss – calm, reliable, and ready to help, • Coach your team on engaging decision-makers across commercial, industrial, and residential markets, • Step in on strategic, complex, or high-impact opportunities as needed, • Model and reinforce Kustom’s values through professionalism, empathy, and urgency, • Collaborate Across Teams, • Partner closely with local and national operations leaders to ensure seamless project handoff and execution, • Encourage cross-functional collaboration with estimators, operations leaders, and emergency response teams, • Serve as a connector between Sales, Operations, and Marketing to align expectations and execution, • Proactively engage with HR on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and retention strategies for sales team, • Stay Ahead of the Industry, • Monitor market trends, relevant industry activity, and high-risk opportunities such as weather and local events, • Coach your team on identifying and pursuing growth opportunities across key verticals including hospitality, healthcare, senior living, multifamily, storage, and more, • Proactive and Driven – Proven success leading teams responsible for full-cycle B2B sales in a service-based environment including goal-setting, tracking progress, and driving results through consistent execution, • Relationship-Focused – Skilled at building trust with clients, referral partners, and internal stakeholders and able to coach others on navigating relationships from the front desk to the C-suite, • An Excellent Communicator – Confident delivering clear expectations, feedback, and coaching to team members with strong presentation, negotiation, and follow-through skills, • Detail-Driven and Accountable – Strong CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred) with the ability to coach others on data integrity and comfortable holding others accountable to activity, pipeline health, and outcomes, • Adaptable and Resilient – Able to lead calmly through urgent, fast-moving situations (disasters don’t follow business hours) and comfortable balancing competing priorities while supporting team performance, • Committed to Learning – Willing to continuously develop people leadership, sales strategy, and industry knowledge but curiosity, coachability, and leadership growth matter most (restoration experience is a plus), • Ready to Mobilize – A valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel up to 50% within the region to support multi-site, multi-state clients is requiredWhy Join Kustom, • A Culture That Wins Together – Teamwork, integrity, and a growth mindset define us, • Competitive Comp Program – Weekly base pay plus UNLIMITED quarterly commission structure, • Total Rewards Benefits – Health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more At Kustom, we unite experts who are driving the industry forward, delivering positive, life-changing outcomes for both commercial and residential customers.
