In this role, you will help patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals find the durable medical equipment and services that best meet their needs while delivering an exceptional customer experience. What You'll DoCustomer Service & Sales • Welcome and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner., • Help patients and caregivers select appropriate medical equipment and supplies., • Demonstrate products and explain features, benefits, and proper use., • Identify opportunities to recommend complementary products that enhance patient outcomes., • Build strong relationships through outstanding customer service.Insurance & Documentation, • Answer questions regarding equipment availability, insurance coverage, and reimbursement requirements., • Verify insurance benefits and collect required documentation., • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare regulations., • Stay informed on Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and accreditation requirements.Order Processing & Administration, • Enter customer information, orders, and documentation accurately., • Prepare delivery paperwork, billing documentation, and supporting records., • Coordinate with Billing, Delivery, Technicians, and Sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment., • Process payments, co-pays, deductibles, and private-pay transactions., • Maintain detailed customer account records and notes.Showroom & Operations Support, • Assist with showroom organization, merchandising, and inventory replenishment., • Participate in inventory counts and inventory management activities., • Attend department meetings, training sessions, and company events., • Perform additional duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications, • High School Diploma or GED., • Strong customer service and communication skills., • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities., • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications, • Associate degree or equivalent work experience., • Experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME), healthcare intake, insurance verification, medical billing, or healthcare customer service., • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance authorization processes, and payer guidelines., • Experience with Brightree, Nymbl, Housecall Pro, or similar healthcare software platforms.Key Skills, • Customer-focused and compassionate approach., • Strong verbal and written communication skills., • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively., • Commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance standards.Physical Requirements, • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods., • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds., • Frequent computer use, data entry, and phone communication.Why Join Westside Medical Supply? Job Description We are currently seeking an Architectural Project Architect / Associate with a minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in our Rochester, NY location. The candidate should have experience in municipal or public-bid project types, and familiarity with Wicks-Law requirements. Experience in judicial or jail design is a plus. This demanding and fast-paced position requires a personable candidate with extensive experience in client service and team leadership. Prior experience working for an Architectural/Engineering Consultant or Municipal firm is required. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams, delegate responsibilities and coordinate deadlines. Duties: • Assist in managing deadlines for internal staff and/or Consultant Teams, • QA/QC of work, • Delegation of tasks and mentorship to immediate team members Requirements • Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience, • Excellent communication (verbally and written), organization, work planning, and team facilitation skills, • Self-Motivated, and ability to work in a team environment, • Must be proficient Revit, AutoCAD, and have knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), • Strong knowledge of NYS Building Codes and NFPA (ICC codes a plus), • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook; MS Project experience is a plus), • Registered Architect in the State of New York (desirable but not required), • Some travel will be required Salary Range: • 5 - 10 years of experience: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, • 10 - 15 years of experience: $75,000 - $90,000 per year The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
